Szalay-Spatula

The Szalay Spatula is available in different sizes.

The Szalay spatula is used for simultaneous removal of material from the endocervix, ectocervix and the transformation zone using a single instrument and smear.

Remember to turn the spatula in clockwise direction and to peel of the spatula sideways on the slide when removing the smear.
